Legacy that still leads

B.M.S. College of Engineering, Bengaluru has the rare distinction of being the first private engineering college established in India. Founded in 1946 through the vision of Late Sri B. M. Sreenivasaiah and Late Sri B. S. Narayan, the institution has grown into one of the country's most respected destinations for technical education.

Over more than seven decades, BMSCE has produced over 40,000 graduates and built a strong identity around academic excellence, research, governance, industry alignment, and service to society. The college is approved by AICTE, permanently affiliated to VTU Belagavi, aided by the Government of Karnataka, and operating as an autonomous institution with UGC approval.
